Photographs represent a minor part of the Museum\u2019s collection and are mostly donations by photographers who had exhibited their works in the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Koro\u0161ka in the past. The photographic works from the collection were created at the end of the 20th and beginning of 21st century and represented the artists\u2019 current production at the time they were acquired. A specific part within the Museum\u2019s collection are photographic cycles by individual photographers, related distinctive motifs. George Graciansky was awarded the Jury\u2019s First Prize for his cycle of photographs at the exhibition Artist and the Urban Environment in 1997. Besides his works, the collection includes individual works or entire series by Stojan Kerbler, Tomo Jeseni\u010dnik, Tihomir Pinter, Dragi\u0161a Modrinjak, Maja \u0160ivec, Stane Jer\u0161i\u010d, Herman Pivk, Roberto Kusterle, Inge Morath and others. In accordance with our capacities and collection policy, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Koro\u0161ka collection of photographs is also complemented with the works of Carinthian photographers of the younger generation, such as Alja\u017e Veli\u010dki and Tadej Vaukman.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
