Skelton participated in the Forma Viva symposium in Portorož in 1964, where he created the sculpture Motherhood (today located in a park on the Seča peninsula). During his return visit to Slovenia in the summer months as a guest at an artist residency in Slovenj Gradec, he created the sculpture Miracle of Creation or Miraculum Creationis, which was included in the large international exhibition Peace, Humanity and Friendship among Nations in the same year, in the then Art Pavilion, today the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Koroška in Slovenj Gradec. The sculpture is made of a monumental oak trunk, while the steel parts were cast in the ironworks in Ravne na Koroškem.
