MON: METAMORPHOSIS

In 2019, Monika Plemen won the first prize at the Club of Carinthian Students competition “Who are you, Carinthia?”, for which she was awarded with an exhibition in the Ravne Gallery. The young artist, who is working under the pseudonym MON, will present three series of prints at her first solo exhibition: “Metamorphoses”, “Forma” and “Forma Viva”, as well as the book “HER”. In her works, she combines different artistic techniques, from photography to printing techniques like lithography, etching and dry needle.

Monika Plemen (Mežica, 1994) is currently finishing her master’s studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana and in Halle, Germany.
